Compensation & Benefits
At MKD Electric, we believe careers should be rewarding and growth oriented. This role offers a competitive pay range of $60,000-75,000 on an annualized basis, depending on experience. In addition, We’re proud to provide an excellent benefits package including health, dental, retirement, paid time off, and career development opportunities.
What you will do…
The Recruiter supports hiring for our electrical construction projects within data centers and industrial environments. This position focuses primarily on sourcing and hiring field employees—including technicians, foremen, and other skilled trades—to meet the fast-paced demands of our growing operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. Previous experience in construction recruiting or skilled trades hiring is preferred, but not required for motivated candidates with strong communication and organizational skills.

Support full-cycle recruiting for field and trade positions, including electricians, technicians, and foremen.

Partner with project and field leadership to understand staffing needs and timelines.

Post open positions across multiple job boards and platforms.

Source candidates through online job sites, social media, trade schools, and employee referrals.

Conduct phone screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

Maintain accurate candidate and hiring data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Communicate effectively with candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience.

Attend career fairs, hiring events, or trade school visits to support outreach efforts.

Represent the company professionally and help promote our brand as a preferred employer in the electrical contracting industry.
What you will need to succeed…
Education & Experience
-
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

1–3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR support—ideally in construction, skilled trades, or related industries.

Strong interest in learning the electrical construction and data center industries.

Experience managing multiple openings in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ATS platforms (training provided).
