In March 2025 we partnered with fast growing, Washington-based Sea-Tac Electric, a full-service electrical services company with 35 years of expertise in electrical design engineering, new building electrical design-build construction, electrical repairs and service, voice and data structured cabling systems, and security systems for commercial properties.
The Sea-Tac Electric team is looking for a best-in-class Project Engineer, willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field!
What you’ll do…
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the electrical aspects of construction projects, working closely with the project manager, client, subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensures electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning are completed on time, within budget and according to the specifications and standards
- Coordinate and advise the electrical team, troubleshooting and resolving any issues and preparing and maintaining project documentation and reporting
- Reviews and analyzes project specifications, drawings and contracts to determine the electrical scope of work and requirements
- Prepares and submits electrical estimates, bids, proposals and schedules for projects
- Monitor and control the electrical progress, quality and costs of projects
- Support the project operations team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, regulations, and safety procedures
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports such as electrical drawings, calculations, specifications, test results, change orders, invoices and closeout documentation
What you’ll need to succeed…
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrical project engineer or similar role in electrical construction industry preferred
- Knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning of various types of projects such as commercial, industrial, residential and institutional
- Proficiency in electrical software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to learn new software and tool utilization in all aspects of project management
- Strong project management, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

The base pay range for this position is $50,000 to $80,000 per year. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
