In March 2025 we partnered with fast growing, Washington-based Sea-Tac Electric, a full-service electrical services company with 35 years of expertise in electrical design engineering, new building electrical design-build construction, electrical repairs and service, voice and data structured cabling systems, and security systems for commercial properties. 

The Sea-Tac Electric team is looking for a best-in-class Project Manager, willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field!

What you’ll do… 

  • Hold project teams accountable for following safety policy, driving a safety-first culture
  • Ensure the quality and safety of the project work and adhere to the company’s policies
  • Visit and grow customer base, fostering relationships with client representatives
  • Provide detailed estimates of expected costs, manpower, cash-flow and profit to senior management to aid in bid approval as required
  • Plan and define scope, objectives and deliverables of the electrical projects and communicate them to the field team
  • Prepare, and monitor the project budget and take corrective action when necessary to meet project expectations
  • Prepare and monitor the project schedule, measuring baseline against actual and take corrective action when necessary
  • Maintain document changes to plan, scope or schedule utilizing industry tools such as RFI & COP
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensure detailed plans are in place for projects. Includes project sequencing work, and efficiency
  • Ensure the coordination and supervision of the installation, testing and commissioning of the electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects.
  • Oversee multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Set goals for the team, implement strategies for achieving these goals
  • Be a mentor and coach, guide the team
  • Apply and review lessons learned with the team throughout the project
  • Ensure systems and processes are being adhered to
  • Perform high-level reviews of project efficiency and productivity, labor hours, compensation rate, material budgets, and other job expenses
  • Manage the financial performance of projects assigned to you and the team reporting to you
  • Works with the Project Management team to determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensures accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for all projects
  • Oversee and complete monthly financial projections

What you’ll need to succeed…  

  • Ability to read/comprehend blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas, and processing charts. Distinguish colors
  • Proficiency in local, regional and national code requirements
  • Ability to plan/organize work and interpret/communicate technical information
  • Able to execute and deliver results on multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Can easily understand and communicate technical information
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook applications
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid government-issued Driver’s License
  • Proof of Work Authorization

The base pay range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 per year. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
