We are a fast-paced and agile company looking for a best-in-class Automation Project Manager with experience in industrial automation projects and services.

What you will do…

·        Support business development and sales activities including project estimation, proposal generation, and creation of detailed project execution plans and schedules

·        Manage projects from kickoff to closeout with responsibilities for safety, customer satisfaction, and financial performance

·        Serve as primary interface to customer for commercial and schedule issues

·        Work with project designers, engineers, and field service team to communicate budget, schedule constraints, and monitor progress on project deliverables

·        Manage project change orders, financial projections, staffing, and procurement on an ongoing basis

·        Work with accounting department to ensure that invoicing is accurate and timely

·        Identify cross-selling opportunities to expand project scope and bring business to other company divisions

·        Articulate value of automation solutions to client management, production, engineering, and maintenance personnel

·        Specify automation and electrical components and software to meet customer specifications, application requirements, and industrial standards

·        Maintain records of client outreach activities in CRM system (Salesforce)

·        Drive Wesa Automation safety culture

What you need to succeed…

·        Experience in design and implementation of industrial control systems or control panels

·        Ability to examine equipment diagrams, process & instrumentation diagrams, and electrical schematics for automation content and project requirements

·        Ability to develop initial bill of materials and communicate concepts and requirements to design team

·        AS/BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology or demonstrated experience in industry

·        Experience preferred in one or more of the following

o   Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, GE, Omron, Automation Direct, or other PLC

o   Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, ABB 800xA, or other DCS

o   FactoryTalk View, WinCC, Tatsoft, Ignition, iFix, Wonderware, or other HMI/SCADA

o   AC drives, DC drives, motion control, robotics, machine vision, functional safety

·        Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
