JSET Automated Technologies specializes in low voltage controls and communications, more specifically installing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical building management monitoring systems on commercial or industrial projects in the Columbus area. We strive to provide an opportunity for our employees to gain education in the industry by providing hands-on experience and technical training.

JSET Automated Technologies is seeking an experienced EPMS Technician. 

Objectives of this role 

·                  Perform configuration, and commissioning of monitoring devices, including Meters, Gateways, and Network Switches as directed by the lead technician. 

·                  Help maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, test results, and equipment configurations. 

·                  Work closely with commissioning agents, lead technicians, and project engineers to ensure successful project completion. 

·                  Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all commissioning activities. 

Required skills and qualifications 

·                  Strong working knowledge of computers 

·                  Willingness to learn new skills and processes 

·                  Punctual and reliable, with a commitment to arriving on time for scheduled shifts and meetings. 

·                  Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 

 

Preferred skills and qualifications 

·                  Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus). 

·                  Familiar with SCADA software (e.g. Ignition, Niagara) 

·                  Background in software development, specifically Python.  

·                  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Project)
